She also processes all the moose hide by herself including the cleaning, scraping, and tanning the hide. Each hide will vary in colour since each is smoked in our backyard <3 Our hide is donated to our family by friends and family who hunt for their families. I will be posting more about this process in the future!
We always make a tobacco offering to the spirit of the animal as a way of thanking them and sharing how we will use the hide to help bring joy and beauty to others.
