When I first started exploring archaeology I kept seeing other Indigenous scholars, authors, relatives reinforce that these archaeological sites “are not dead”. There is life all around and within the earth we excavate.
This chapter fulfills the background requirement by exploring the theories and methods of my research, but it also set the understanding and ways of knowing that guided me.
